Organisms Present: 

Here are a couple of the organisms that I saw while working on this project:

1. A mushroom

2. A Tree with bright red berries

3. A Toad

Present Climate Conditions: Warm + Sunny!

Temperature: 78' Fahrenheit.

Length of Day: 12 hours + 48 minutes

Awe + Stewardship: Me and my sister were both very amazed at how many different trees and plants there were in that small area. It is impressive that so many things can grow there at once!

    Good pictures! Overall field notes good but we will want a little more in terms of descriptions of organisms...where are you seeing them? how many? how many different kinds? etc.

   ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ There were definitely a lot of changes between my 4th and 5th field studies. The most noticeable, which you will see in my pictures, was that it finally snowed! Personally, I am not a fan of the winter, but I can't deny that the snow is beautiful. There wasn't very much snow yet, but about 2 inches was covering my entire backyard. The leaves are also almost completely off of the trees which makes my backyard look a lot more bare. It was also FREEZING outside. Another note is that the  length of day has continued to drop which has made getting these pictures in the daylight even harder.  ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ Organisms I noticed were: - Trees : The trees are finally rid of all the leaves but other than that they are the same as they have been. - Plants : Many different plants, nothing different than usual except that they don't have leaves anymore.  They are more of a weird collection of sticks at this point. - Birds:  Still birds, which is a bit su...

Field Study #3

🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂 It was such a beautiful day out when I did my 3rd Field Study.  The leaves have started to change  colors, and it wasn't too cold, I also saw so many animals. A couple of changes include; the obvious changing of colors, the increase in numbers of squirrels , and the decrease in numbers of toads. For the past couple of months there have been so many toads all over my backyard, but they seem to finally be leaving. However, as my dog keeps reminding me, there are plenty of squirrels to take their place. I did a sketch during this visit and while I was sitting down to do that, a ton of squirrels were running around in the trees above me. I narrowly avoided being hit in the head by acorns on more than one occasion.  🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂 Organisms I noticed were: Trees : Many different kinds all over the place, nothing new with them expect they've started changing colors.
