Field Study #2
π³π³π³π³π³
This time when I went out to my location I noticed that a few things had changed. One was
pretty obvious, the temperature has DROPPED. For the last field study I remember that I was in a tank top and still warm. Today I was wearing a whole winter coat and wished I was wearing more. Another difference was that there was actually quite a bit of growth. Especially when taking my picture from the same place as last time, I noticed that it had many more leaves/branches around it.

Organisms I noticed were:
Trees: Many different kinds all over the place
Plants: I couldn't tell you what they were all called but there were lots of non-tree plants as well, a typical amount for woods I think.
Bugs: There were lots of bugs too. Not anymore than usual but enough that I noticed them.
Birds: I hear lots of birds in my backyard, today was no different.
And as you will see in my EDD, Moss: LOTS of moss, mostly just around the base of trees.
My Same Spot Picture:
Temperature: 57'
Date + Time: 5:30 on Thursday Sept 29
Present Climate Conditions: Windy, cloudy, cold.
Length of day: 11 hours, 53 minutes
Awe and Stewardship: When I really have to observe my backyard for this project, I find that I get a much better look at the nature around me than when I am not actively observing. I notice so much more and am much more appreciative and in awe of God's creation.

Glad you are sensing some awe! Sometimes we just need to slow down a little and look around! Start watching for patterns in color change and leaf fall. All of this looks great.
